- 8 pieces of toast
- 1 can Smeds condensed milk
- 140 gr. corn flour
- 150 gr. Smeds milk powder
- 800 ml. of water
- 10 ml. orange blossom water
- 5 ml. rose water
- 120 gr. of pistachios
For Sugar syrup:
- 200 gr. sugar
- 120 ml. water
- 5 ml. lemon squeezed
- 5 ml. of orange blossom water
- 3 ml. of rose water
- In a medium saucepan combine sugar, lemon squeezed and water. Bring to a boil, stirring, until sugar has dissolved. put it on low heat for about 15 minutes, so that the syrup becomes thick. Once finished, put blossom water and rose water.
- Place a layer of toast bread in a rectangular bowl and cover it with hot sugar syrup.
- Mix well Smeds milk powder with water in a bowl and then add the condensed milk from Smeds with the corn flour and put it on medium heat and stir continuously. When the mixture becomes thick, put it aside, add rose water and blossom water, then put it on the toast. When it cools a little, put it in the refrigerator for at least two hours.
- To serve, sprinkle pistachios and add syrup to top.
